Job Summary
Conduct occupational therapy services in a skilled nursing facility to help residents with injuries, illnesses, or disabilities regain daily living skills. Perform clinical assessments, develop treatment plans, and provide ADL training, splinting, and adaptive equipment recommendations. Document progress in electronic medical records while maintaining an active Ohio Occupational Therapy license and BLS certification. This assignment includes days shifts in Springfield, OH, with 100% paid housing and travel reimbursement available. Full medical benefits and 401k matching are included for this travel contract role.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited educational program
- Active Ohio Occupational Therapy license
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification from AHA or ARC
- Strong clinical assessment and treatment planning skills
Desired Qualifications
- Experience providing OT services in a skilled nursing facility or long-term care setting
- Experience with ADL training, splinting, adaptive equipment recommendations, and documentation in electronic medical records
