Job Summary
Conduct occupational therapy evaluations, ADL training, splinting, and discharge planning for patients with injuries, illnesses, or disabilities in an acute care hospital setting in Ottumwa, IA. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to help clients regain or improve daily skills. Requires an active Iowa OT license, BLS certification, and a Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy. This travel contract assignment offers 100% paid housing, weekly pay, and full medical benefits starting day one.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Active Iowa Occupational Therapy license
- BLS certification from AHA or ARC
Desired Qualifications
- Experience working in an acute care or hospital setting
- Prior experience with standard inpatient OT evaluations, ADL training, splinting, and discharge planning
- Ability to collaborate with interdisciplinary teams in a hospital environment
