Occupational Therapist - Travel Contract

Job Summary
Conduct thorough evaluations using standardized assessments and develop individualized plans of care focused on ADL retraining, therapeutic activities, modalities, and assistive device training. Monitor patient progress, adjust treatments, and communicate outcomes with the interdisciplinary team while documenting treatment minutes and regulatory information in the electronic system. Participate in patient care conferences, utilization review, and rehabilitation meetings, and provide comprehensive discharge summaries ensuring compliance with NBCOT and state practice acts. This travel role in Purcell, OK requires an active license, minimum one year of experience, and includes 8-hour days with weekend availability.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited educational program
- Active Occupational Therapy state license
- Minimum 1 year of OT experience
- Experience in long term care (LTC) or rehabilitation settings
- Level II fieldwork experience (not solely Level I observation)

- 0-1 professional reference
Desired Qualifications
- BLS certification from AHA or ARC
- Experience supervising OT assistants, rehabilitation aides, or students
