Job Summary
Occupational Therapist needed to provide patient-centered care in Senior Living and Skilled Nursing settings. Responsibilities include conducting screenings, evaluations, assessments, and treatments in accordance with state practice acts, plan of care, and company policies; optimizing functional self-care, independence, and quality of life for aging populations; timely documentation; participating in orientations and staff meetings; developing therapy programs in collaboration with the Director of Rehabilitation; supervising Therapy Assistants; adhering to infection control procedures and OBRA Resident Rights Guidelines; exercising sound clinical judgment and prioritizing patient care; and performing duties with moderate to heavy physical demands.
Required Qualifications
- Current or eligible Occupational Therapy license in the state of practice
- Graduate of an accredited occupational therapy program
- If foreign-trained, degree must be evaluated as equivalent to U.S. entry-level OT education by an AOTA-approved credentialing agency
