Job Summary
Occupational Therapist for school-based services (grades 4–12) responsible for conducting evaluations and assessments of fine motor, sensory processing, and visual-motor skills; developing and implementing individualized treatment plans; delivering direct OT services to students individually or in small groups aligned with IEP goals; collaborating with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support classroom modifications and interventions; participating in IEP meetings and documenting student progress; educating staff and families on strategies for generalization and carryover; maintaining accurate documentation and engaging in ongoing professional development.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Current state license to practice as an Occupational Therapist in the state where services will be provided
- National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) certification
- Experience working with school-aged children or in educational settings preferred
