Job Summary
Occupational Therapist needed for school-based services. Conduct evaluations and assessments to identify students' fine motor, sensory processing, visual-motor, and daily living skill needs; develop and implement individualized treatment plans; provide direct OT services to students individually or in small groups aligned with IEP goals; collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support classroom modifications and interventions; participate in IEP meetings and contribute to goal development and documentation of progress; educate staff and families on strategies for generalization and carryover of interventions; maintain accurate documentation; engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in school-based OT. Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Current state license to practice as an Occupational Therapist
- National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) certification
- Experience working with school-aged children or in educational settings preferred
