Job Summary
Provide school-based occupational therapy services to K-8 students in Peoria, AZ. Conduct evaluations and assessments to identify students' fine motor, sensory processing, visual-motor, and daily living skill needs; develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with IEP goals; deliver direct OT services to students individually or in small groups; collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support classroom modifications, accommodations, and interventions; participate in IEP meetings and contribute to goal development and documentation of progress; educate staff and families on strategies for generalization and carryover of interventions; maintain accurate documentation of evaluations, progress reports, treatment sessions, and communications; engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in school-based OT. Must have a Master’s degree in OT, current AZ state license, NBCOT certification, and experience with school settings is preferred. W2 employment with benefits and flexible scheduling offered.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Current state license to practice OT in AZ
- NBCOT certification
- Experience with school-aged children or educational settings preferred
