Job Summary
Occupational Therapist (OT) for school-based role providing evaluations/assessments of fine motor, sensory processing, visual-motor, and daily living skills; develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with IEP goals; provide direct OT services to students individually or in small groups; collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support classroom modifications and interventions; participate in IEP meetings and document progress; educate staff and families on strategies for generalization and carryover; maintain timely documentation; engage in ongoing professional development. State licensure, NBCOT, and a Master’s degree in OT are required; experience with school-aged children is preferred. Full benefits package and 12-month salary option available; remote/hybrid options mentioned but this posting is onsite in Surprise, AZ.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Current state license to practice as an Occupational Therapist in the state where services will be provided
- NBCOT certification
- Experience working with school-aged children or in educational settings preferred
