Job Summary
Provide direct occupational therapy services to PreK–12 students, conduct assessments, develop IEP plans, and evaluate progress while collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, educators, and parents. Manage assigned caseloads and complete administrative responsibilities including documentation, planning, and meetings within a fully on-site, in-person setting. Work flexible part-time or full-time schedules of 12–20 hours per week during the 2026–2027 school year, adhering to reasonable caseloads that support high-quality student services.
Required Qualifications
- BS, Master's, OTD, or PhD in Occupational Therapy degree from an accredited university
- State License as Occupational Therapist
- NBCOT License
- Licensing with the State Department of Education, where required
- Experience working with children
- Strong foundation in Sensory Integration and ability to identify and analyze areas of developmental and sensory-motor dysfunction
- Organizational and time management skills
- Proficient in use of technology
- Fingerprint background clearance
- Ability to collaborate with school staff and parents with a demonstrated ability to exercise a high level of tact and discretion in both internal and external communications
- Must be able to perform the necessary physical movement functions, such as lifting, sitting, walking, standing, crawling, and engaging with students in all physical locations and activities
