Job Summary
Provide educational direction and support for students experiencing confusion, frustration, or emotional upset. Develop and update IEP goals and progress reports while documenting Occupational Therapy service minutes as dictated. Maintain accurate related service logs updated weekly and coordinate communication with administrative staff, teachers, and other related service personnel. Work with students to improve skills needed for day-to-day life and work according to their individualized education plans. Schedule runs 8:00am-3:30pm Monday-Friday following the school calendar as a direct hire with the school.
Required Qualifications
- Current State Occupational Therapy License
- Registration with National Board of Certification in Occupational Therapy
- Ability to work with students with ED/BD/OHI/Autism/TBI/OHI
