Job Summary
Evaluate residents and develop individualized occupational therapy treatment plans to improve functional abilities, ADLs, and quality of life. Establish short- and long-term rehabilitation goals, monitor progress, and collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, families, and interdisciplinary team members to support resident outcomes. Supervise Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants, complete all required documentation and billing records accurately, and provide resident education on therapy goals and adaptive equipment. Coordinate durable medical equipment needs and participate in care conferences, discharge planning, and quality improvement initiatives. Located in the Catskill Mountains, this role offers a full-time schedule from 8 am to 4 pm with a sign-on bonus up to $7,500.
Required Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program approved by the American Occupational Therapy Association
- Valid New York State Occupational Therapist License
