Job Summary

Evaluate patients' functional abilities, physical limitations, and rehabilitation needs, then develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams. Deliver evidence-based occupational therapy interventions to improve daily living skills and functional independence, while monitoring patient progress and modifying plans as appropriate. Educate patients and family members on treatment goals, adaptive techniques, and recovery strategies, and maintain accurate clinical documentation. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and case managers to coordinate patient care, support safe transitions, and assist with discharge planning. Provide mentorship to occupational therapy assistants and students. Two weekend shifts per month required; new graduates encouraged to apply.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Therapy
  • Current Occupational Therapist license in the State of Florida
  • Occupational Therapist Registered (OTR/L) credential
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire
  • Two weekend shifts per month

Desired Qualifications

  • One or more years of Occupational Therapy experience
  • Acute care, inpatient rehabilitation, or hospital-based therapy experience
  • Strong communication and interdisciplinary collaboration skills
