Job Summary
Occupational Therapist organizes and conducts occupational therapy programs for the facility to facilitate rehabilitation, directing resident participation to restore, reinforce, and enhance performance; designs and fits adaptive devices, selects appropriate activities, collaborates with the rehabilitation team, instructs residents in skills for participation, adapts programs to individual needs, attends care conferences, trains staff in OT techniques, requisitions supplies, supervises personnel, and ensures high-quality service in a caring environment. Requires OT degree, state licensure/registration, and certification eligibility. Full-time or part-time and per diem positions available.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an occupational therapy curriculum
- Licensed and/or eligible for licensure as required in the state
- Registered and/or eligible for certification by the American Occupational Therapy Certification Board
