Job Summary
Conduct diagnostic evaluations and treatment for assigned patients to help them reach maximum performance levels within community limits. Administer and write evaluations in accordance with departmental standards, while providing consultation on environmental design, adaptive equipment, and proper patient positioning. Design and fabricate splints and adaptive equipment as specified by physicians, and instruct patients in self-care skills for meal preparation, dressing, and feeding. Maintain timely and accurate patient records and reports, and participate in home assessments to support individualized therapy programs.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in occupational therapy
- Current Colorado Occupational Therapist License in good standing with DORA
Desired Qualifications
- One year of experience preferred
- Strong supervisory and leadership skills
- Strong customer service orientation
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
- Ability to use tools used to make adaptive equipment
