Job Summary
Conduct diagnostic evaluations and treatment for assigned patients to maximize their functional performance within community limits. Administer sensor-motor integration techniques, design individualized therapy programs, and instruct patients in adaptive self-care skills for daily living. Fabricate splints and adaptive equipment per medical prescriptions while providing environmental design consultation. Maintain accurate patient records and reports, participate in home assessments, and utilize therapeutic exercises to improve strength and range of motion. Requires a Colorado OT license, one year of experience preferred, and proficiency with adaptive tools. Full-time role at Cedars Healthcare Center with hourly pay ranging from $50 to $53.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in occupational therapy
- Current Colorado Occupational Therapist License in good standing with DORA
Desired Qualifications
- One year of experience preferred
- Strong supervisory and leadership skills
- Strong customer service orientation
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
- Ability to use tools used to make adaptive equipment
