Job Summary
Conduct diagnostic evaluations and treatment for assigned patients to help them reach maximum performance levels and function independently within community limits. Administer sensor-motor integration treatment, design individualized therapy programs, and instruct patients in adaptive techniques for self-care skills. Provide consultation on environmental design, proper positioning to prevent contractures, and splinting; fabricate splints, slings, and adaptive equipment per physician prescriptions. Maintain timely and accurate patient records and reports while participating in home assessments. Requires a Colorado Occupational Therapist License in good standing, one year of experience preferred, and proficiency with adaptive equipment tools. Full-time position with a pay rate of $50–$53 per hour.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in occupational therapy
- Current Colorado Occupational Therapist License in good standing with DORA
Desired Qualifications
- One year of experience preferred
- Strong supervisory and leadership skills
- Strong customer service orientation
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
- Ability to use tools used to make adaptive equipment
