Job Summary
Provide diagnostic evaluations and treatment to assigned patients to help them reach maximum performance levels and function independently within their capabilities. Administer and write evaluations in accordance with departmental standards, while designing and administering treatment programs that increase functional levels using therapeutic exercises and activities. Instruct patients in adapted techniques for self-care skills and fabricate splints and adaptive equipment as specified by medical prescriptions. Maintain timely and accurate patient records and reports throughout the process.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in occupational therapy
- Current Colorado Occupational Therapist License in good standing with DORA
Desired Qualifications
- One year of experience
- Strong supervisory and leadership skills
- Strong customer service orientation
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
- Ability to use tools used to make adaptive equipment
