Job Summary
Provide diagnostic evaluations and treatment to assigned patients, administering sensor-motor integration techniques and designing individualized therapy programs to improve strength, range of motion, and fine-motor coordination. Conduct environmental design consultations, instruct patients in adaptive equipment for self-care skills, and fabricate splints and slings per physician prescriptions. Maintain accurate patient records and reports while participating in home assessments to help patients function within their capabilities. Requires a Colorado Occupational Therapist license, one year of experience preferred, and proficiency with adaptive tools. Full-time position at Cedars Healthcare Center in Lakewood, CO.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in occupational therapy
- Current Colorado Occupational Therapist License in good standing with DORA
Desired Qualifications
- One year of experience preferred
- Strong supervisory and leadership skills
- Strong customer service orientation
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
- Ability to use tools used to make adaptive equipment
