Job Summary
Provide diagnostic evaluations and treatment to assigned patients, administering sensor-motor integration techniques and visual perceptual-motor remediation programs. Design and fabricate splints, slings, and adaptive equipment per medical prescriptions to improve strength, range of motion, and self-care skills. Consult on environmental design and proper patient positioning to prevent contractures while instructing individuals in adapted meal preparation and home management techniques. Maintain timely patient records and reports, participating in home assessments and designing individualized therapy programs to increase developmental levels. This Full Time role at Cedars Healthcare Center, part of Stellar Senior Living, offers a pay rate of $50-$53 per hour with comprehensive benefits including health insurance, 401(k) match, and tuition assistance.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in occupational therapy
- Current Colorado Occupational Therapist License in good standing with DORA
Desired Qualifications
- One year of experience preferred
- Strong supervisory and leadership skills
- Strong customer service orientation
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
- Ability to use tools used to make adaptive equipment
