Job Summary
Assess clients and build accurate therapy care plans based on their real home environments, developing health promotion programs, prescribing equipment, and promoting client safety. Exert critical thinking to provide complex preventative or corrective actions for diverse clients, solving problems that interfere with their ability to perform important tasks. Partner with family members, caregivers, and other health care professionals regarding treatment goals and service plans. Deliver services in a hybrid model of care, including face-to-face and virtual interactions, within a unionized environment in St. Thomas.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of a recognized Post Secondary program in Occupational Therapy
- Current active registration and is in good standing as an Occupational Therapist with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario
- Must have a Valid Driver's License
- Must have the use of a reliable vehicle
- Must be eligible to work in Canada
