Job Summary
Assess patients' ability to safely perform independent living skills and design appropriate plans of care including treatment type and frequency. Implement treatment plans using appropriate modalities, document progress findings, and monitor or modify care as needed. Educate patients and caregivers about deficits, assist with discharge planning, and provide information on adaptive equipment and support programs. Oversee care provided by designated individuals according to established regulations and practice standards while maintaining constant alertness and safety. Perform other duties as assigned. Requires a Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy and state licensure (IDFPR, Missouri Division, Oklahoma Medical Board, or Wisconsin DPS). Full-time day shift with 40 weekly hours; BLS certification required within 90 days.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's, Master's or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy, or related area as required to obtain licensure in state of practice
- Resuscitation Certification Requirement: Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider (BLS HCP) required within 90 day of employment
- Occupational Therapist - Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR)
- Occupational Therapist - Missouri Division of Professional Registration
- Occupational Therapist (OT) - Wisconsin Department of Safety and Professional Services
