Job Summary

Evaluate and treat diverse pediatric needs, including developmental delays, neurological conditions, and sensory processing challenges. Develop individualized Plans of Care to support clients in daily activities like play, education, self-care, and social participation. Collaborate with families for skill carryover and resources while maintaining documentation in adherence to HIPAA guidelines. Stay current with evidence-based practices and professional development. Work Monday through Thursday with Fridays reserved for make-up appointments, supported by a team that values mentorship and offers flexible weekly notes deadlines.

Required Qualifications

  • A valid Texas state license to practice Occupational Therapy and adherence to the Texas Practice Act & Rules and AOTA Code of Ethics.
  • Experience (or passion to gain experience!) working with children and families in a therapeutic setting.
  • A knack for promoting independence with gross/fine motor skills, sensory regulation, and cognitive development.
  • Skilled in promoting independence across gross/fine motor, sensory regulation, and cognitive development.
  • Strong documentation, communication, and organizational skills.
  • A commitment to professional growth and evidence-based practices.
