Job Summary
Conduct highly individualized, client-centred occupational therapy assessments and goal-oriented treatment for individuals rebuilding skills and restoring function in community settings. Provide hands-on support tailored to unique needs across hobbies, work, school, and daily routines for clients transitioning from hospital or rehab. Manage caseloads and schedule independently while utilizing digital charting and management software to facilitate seamless care delivery.
Required Qualifications
- Registered and in good standing with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario (COTO)
- Valid Drivers License and access to a vehicle
Desired Qualifications
- Clinical experience is an asset including areas within the MVA (motor vehicle accident) system, brain injury/neurological rehabilitation
- Experience providing OT assessment and treatment in a community setting is an asset
- Strong verbal and written communication & interpersonal skills
- Proficient computer skills (i.e. ability to work in MS Word and Outlook)
- Bilingualism (English/French) is an asset
