Job Summary
Provide occupational therapy (OT) treatment and patient care per hospital, state, and federal guidelines; supervise occupational therapy assistants and technicians; delegate tasks effectively; maintain ongoing communication with hospital departments to meet patient, staff, and hospital needs; work with patients across post-acute care to help regain independence and achieve goals; collaborate with rehab teams and participate in ongoing growth opportunities while supporting families and caregivers.
Required Qualifications
- Current state licensure or certification
- CPR certification preferred, unless otherwise required by hospital policy
- Successful completion of a degree from an accredited therapy program or substantially equivalent program
- Effective communication skills for working with patients, families, and caregivers
- Demonstrated competency in occupational therapy evaluation, assessment, care planning and treatment
