Job Summary
Develop objective patient goals and establish the type, frequency, and duration of occupational therapy in collaboration with referring physicians. Provide comprehensive, individualized treatment programs for children with sensory processing challenges, autism spectrum disorder, and developmental delays while adhering to state Practice Act guidelines. Supervise and delegate care for each patient within federal regulations, ensuring all documentation requirements are met. Participate in designing new programs with manager and physician approval, staying current with evidence-based research to maintain high standards of care.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school for occupational therapy
- State occupational therapist license (or eligibility)
- CPR certification
- Valid state driver's license
