Job Summary
Occupational Therapist needed for the school year, part-time (8 hours/week). Responsibilities include conducting evaluations and assessments for motor, sensory, and functional needs; developing and implementing IEPs and therapy plans; providing direct OT services to improve fine motor skills, sensory processing, self-care, and classroom participation; collaborating with teachers and families; recommending adaptive equipment and assistive tech; maintaining compliant records per CDE and IDEA; participating in IEP meetings and MDT discussions; and training staff on strategies to support student independence.
Required Qualifications
- Colorado State Occupational Therapy License
- Colorado Department of Education (CDE) Special Services Provider License – Occupational Therapist
- Fingerprint Clearance & Background Check (required per CDE guidelines)
