Job Summary
Provide direct therapy services to students as outlined in their IEPs; conduct evaluations and assessments to determine students’ functional and developmental levels; develop and implement individualized treatment plans and goals tailored to each student’s unique needs; collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to integrate therapeutic strategies into the classroom; document student progress, therapy sessions, and maintain compliance with state and federal documentation requirements; support students in developing fine motor, visual-motor, sensory processing, and self-care skills; participate in IEP meetings, evaluations, and parent conferences; provide training and resources to school staff to support students’ access to curriculum and participation in school routines; ensure compliance with IDEA, Oregon Department of Education (ODE) regulations, and school district policies.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution
- Current Oregon Occupational Therapist License through the Oregon Occupational Therapy Licensing Board (OTLB)
- Current or eligible for National Board Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT)
- Fingerprint Clearance & Background Check required
