Job Summary
Occupational Therapist needed for a short-term, part-time contract (22 hours/week) serving three school locations. Responsibilities include conducting evaluations to identify motor, sensory, and functional needs; developing and implementing IEPs and therapy plans; providing direct OT services to improve fine motor skills, sensory processing, self-care, and classroom participation; collaborating with teachers and families; recommending adaptive equipment and classroom modifications; maintaining documentation per CDE and IDEA guidelines; participating in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions; and providing training to staff on strategies to support student independence. Licensure in Colorado is required, including the CDE Special Services Provider License and NBCOT certification (endorsement preferred), with fingerprint clearance and background check.
Required Qualifications
- Colorado State Occupational Therapy License
- Colorado Department of Education (CDE) Special Services Provider License – Occupational Therapist
