Job Summary
In-Person Occupational Therapist to provide direct OT services in a school setting. Responsibilities include conducting evaluations and assessments to determine students’ motor, sensory, and functional needs; developing and implementing IEPs and therapy plans; delivering therapy to support fine motor, sensory processing, self-care, and classroom participation; collaborating with teachers, parents, and special education teams to integrate therapy strategies; recommending adaptive equipment and classroom modifications to improve student accessibility; maintaining ISBE/IDEA-compliant records; participating in IEP meetings and related multidisciplinary discussions; and providing training to teachers and staff on strategies to support student independence. Contract role with opportunities to extend or convert to permanent positions; Caledonia, IL location; hourly range $45-$60.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Current Illinois OT Licensure (IDFPR)
- ISBE Approval as a Related Service Provider (if required for school-based roles)
- NBCOT Certification preferred
- Fingerprint Clearance & Background Check required
