Job Summary

Conduct evaluations of students' fine motor, sensory processing, visual-motor, and daily living skills. Develop and implement individualized therapy plans to support students' access to the educational environment. Provide direct occupational therapy services in one-on-one, small group, and classroom-based settings. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and special education teams to integrate therapy strategies into daily routines. Participate in IEP meetings, multidisciplinary team discussions, and eligibility determinations in compliance with California Department of Education and IDEA guidelines. Document evaluations, therapy sessions, and progress notes per district and state requirements. Recommend and support adaptive equipment, assistive technology, and classroom modifications. Provide training and consultation to teachers, staff, and families on motor development, sensory strategies, and accessibility supports.

Required Qualifications

  • Master's or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
  • Current California Occupational Therapy License issued by the California Board of Occupational Therapy (CBOT)
  • Fingerprint clearance and background check

Desired Qualifications

  • NBCOT certification preferred
  • Pediatric or school-based experience strongly preferred
