Job Summary
Provide direct occupational therapy services to students, including evaluations to determine motor, sensory, and functional needs; develop and implement IEPs and therapy plans; collaborate with teachers, parents, and special education teams; advise on adaptive equipment and classroom modifications; maintain compliance with ADE and IDEA guidelines; participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions; offer training to teachers and staff on strategies to support student independence; contract roles with up to 40 hours per week and opportunities for extension or conversion to permanent positions; benefits include health plans, 4% 401(k) match, paid time off, and professional development reimbursements.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Current Arizona OT License (Arizona Board of Occupational Therapy Examiners)
- Arizona Department of Education (ADE) certification or ability to obtain one (if required for school-based roles)
- NBCOT Certification preferred
- Fingerprint Clearance Card & Background Check required
