Job Summary
Provide direct occupational therapy services to Pre-K through high school students within the district, conducting evaluations and assessments of motor, sensory, and functional needs; develop and implement IEPs and therapy plans; collaborate with teachers, parents, and special education teams; recommend adaptive equipment and assistive technology; ensure documentation in line with CDE regulations and IDEA guidelines; participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary discussions; offer training to teachers and staff to support student independence.
Required Qualifications
- Colorado State Occupational Therapy License
- Colorado Department of Education (CDE) Special Services Provider License – Occupational Therapist
- Endorsement (required for school-based roles)NBCOT Certification (preferred)
- Fingerprint Clearance & Background Check (required per CDE guidelines)
