Occupational Therapist

Occupational Therapist needed for school-based services. Responsibilities include evaluating students’ motor, sensory, and functional needs; developing and implementing IEPs and therapy plans; providing direct OT services to support fine motor skills, sensory processing, self-care, and classroom participation; collaborating with teachers, parents, and special education teams to integrate therapy strategies; recommending adaptive equipment and classroom modifications; maintaining ISBE/IDEA-compliant documentation; participating in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary discussions; and providing training to teachers and staff on strategies to support student independence. Must have a Master’s or Doctorate in OT, current IL OT licensure, ISBE approval as a Related Service Provider (if required), and be fingerprint-cleared. NBCOT is preferred. This is a contract role with up to 40 hours/week, with benefits and opportunities for extension or conversion.
