Job Summary
Part-time Occupational Therapist role in Mooresville School Systems (approximately 28 hours/week) focused on delivering occupational therapy services across settings, including Skilled Nursing Facilities, Outpatient Facilities, Long Term Care Facilities, and Home Health Care. Requires a Bachelor of Science or advanced degree in Occupational Therapy, current state license/certification, NBCOT/ABOT registration, and strong communication/interpersonal skills. Prefer at least 1 year of rehabilitation experience and ability to work within school-based and community healthcare environments; role emphasizes collaboration with care teams and adherence to accreditation and compliance standards. In-person position located in Mooresville, Indiana.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science or advanced degree in Occupational Therapy
- Current state license/certification
- Current registration with the American Occupational Therapy Certification Board
- Prefer minimum one (1) year experience in rehabilitation
- Excellent oral, written communication and interpersonal skills
- Willingness to provide therapy services in locations including, but not limited to, Skilled Nursing Facilities, Outpatient Facilities, Long Term Care Facilities or Home Health Care
- Demonstrate competency in applying the principles, methods, materials and equipment used in specific therapy discipline
- Knowledge of accreditation standards and compliance requirements
