Job Summary
Provide occupational therapy services for patients while maintaining positive interactions with facilities and clients in accordance with Reliant Rehabilitation guidelines. Screen and evaluate patients, develop initial and ongoing treatment plans, create discharge plans, and manage case responsibilities. Supervise assistants and rehab techs during group and individual treatment, ensuring compliance with state practice acts, OBRA, and Reliant policy. Optimize patient functionality by directing therapy and consulting on clinical supervision. Adhere to infection control procedures, billing guidelines, and environmental safety protocols. Maintain a valid state license and English proficiency for all documentation and correspondence.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an ACOTE accredited school of occupational therapy
- Valid certification from the National Board for Certification of Occupational Therapy (NBCOT)
- Valid Occupational Therapist state license (where applicable)
- Computer literate and proficient in clinical documentation
- Basic Internet navigation skills
- Ability to read, write, speak, and comprehend in English: instructions, correspondence, charts, memos, and reports
