Job Summary
Provide occupational therapy and related services for patients while maintaining positive interactions with facilities and clients. Screen and evaluate patients, develop initial and ongoing treatment plans, and create discharge plans. Supervise assistants and rehab techs during group and individual treatment, and manage case responsibilities. Adhere to state and federal regulations, infection control procedures, and Reliant Rehabilitation guidelines. Consult with COTAs and enhance clinical expertise through continuing education and professional development.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an ACOTE accredited school of occupational therapy
- Valid certification from the National Board for Certification of Occupational Therapy (NBCOT)
- Valid Occupational Therapist state license (where applicable)
- Ability to read, write, speak, and comprehend in English: instructions, correspondence, charts, memos, and reports
