Job Summary
Provide occupational therapy services for patients while maintaining positive interactions with facilities and clients in accordance with Reliant Rehabilitation guidelines. Screen and evaluate patients, develop initial and ongoing treatment plans of care, create discharge plans, and manage case responsibilities. Directly supervise Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants and rehab techs during group and individual treatment, ensuring compliance with State Practice Acts, OBRA, and Reliant policies. Optimize patient functionality and skills through directed therapy while adhering to infection control procedures and environmental safety protocols. Maintain valid state licensure and stay current with professional issues and relevant payment models.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an ACOTE accredited school of occupational therapy
- Valid certification from the National Board for Certification of Occupational Therapy (NBCOT)
- Valid Occupational Therapist state license (where applicable)
- Ability to read, write, speak, and comprehend in English: instructions, correspondence, charts, memos, and reports
