Job Summary
Provide occupational therapy and related services for patients while screening, evaluating, and developing treatment and discharge plans in accordance with Reliant Rehabilitation guidelines. Optimize patient functionality by directing and overseeing therapy, supervising COTAs and rehab techs during group and individual treatment, and managing case responsibilities. Maintain valid state licensure, adhere to infection control and safety protocols, and ensure compliance with state practice acts, OBRA, and federal regulations. Interact positively with facilities and clients to build strong therapeutic programs.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an ACOTE accredited school of occupational therapy
- Valid certification from the National Board for Certification of Occupational Therapy (NBCOT)
- Valid Occupational Therapist state license (where applicable)
- Ability to read, write, speak, and comprehend in English: instructions, correspondence, charts, memos, and reports
