Job Summary
Provide occupational therapy and related services for patients while maintaining positive interactions with facilities and clients in accordance with Reliant Rehabilitation guidelines. Screen and evaluate patients, develop initial and ongoing treatment plans of care, create discharge plans, and manage case responsibilities. Supervise assistants and rehab techs during group and individual treatment, ensuring compliance with State Practice Acts, OBRA, and Reliant policy. Optimize patient functionality by directing therapy and adhering to infection control and environmental safety protocols. Maintain a valid state license and proficiency in clinical documentation. Full-time or PRN options available; rate varies by skill set and location.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an ACOTE accredited school of occupational therapy
- Valid certification from the National Board for Certification of Occupational Therapy (NBCOT)
- Valid Occupational Therapist state license (where applicable)
- Ability to read, write, speak, and comprehend in English: instructions, correspondence, charts, memos, and reports
