Job Summary
Provide occupational therapy and related services for patients while maintaining positive interactions with facilities and clients in accordance with Reliant Rehabilitation guidelines. Screen and evaluate patients, develop initial and ongoing treatment plans, create discharge plans, and manage case responsibilities. Supervise assistants and rehab techs during group and individual treatments, ensuring compliance with state practice acts, OBRA, and infection control protocols. Optimize patient functionality and skills through direct therapy, consultation, and clinical supervision. Maintain valid state licensure and adhere to all federal regulations regarding occupational therapy.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an ACOTE accredited school of occupational therapy
- Valid certification from the National Board for Certification of Occupational Therapy (NBCOT)
- Valid Occupational Therapist state license (where applicable)
- Ability to read, write, speak, and comprehend in English: instructions, correspondence, charts, memos, and reports
