Job Summary
Provide occupational therapy and related services for patients while maintaining positive interactions with facilities and clients in accordance with Reliant Rehabilitation guidelines. Screen and evaluate patients, develop initial and ongoing treatment plans of care, and create discharge plans. Supervise assistants and rehab techs, manage case responsibilities, and optimize patient functionality by directing and overseeing therapy. Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, infection control procedures, and environmental safety protocols. Maintain a valid state license and adhere to all billing and treatment guidelines. This role is available for new grads and PRN shifts with rates ranging from $55-$65/hour. Reliant is the largest independent rehab therapy provider serving skilled nursing facilities and long-term acute hospitals across 38+ states.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an ACOTE accredited school of occupational therapy
- Valid certification from the National Board for Certification of Occupational Therapy (NBCOT)
- Valid Occupational Therapist state license (where applicable)
- Ability to read, write, speak, and comprehend in English: instructions, correspondence, charts, memos, and reports
