Job Summary
Conduct one-on-one functional rehabilitation for adult clients in home, work, and community settings, including evaluations, treatment plan development, and discharge planning. Re-assess treatment effectiveness, attend staffing meetings and family conferences, and communicate patient progress to the interdisciplinary team, physicians, and families. Collaborate with other disciplines to coordinate care and enhance patient outcomes while providing referral and education resources for home and community safety. Requires a bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy, current unrestricted license, CPR certification, and one year of experience. No weekend shifts; schedule created by the provider.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of a bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy from a college or university with an accredited Occupational Therapy program
- Current, unrestricted license as an Occupational Therapist by state in which practicing
- Current CPR Certification
- A minimum of one year's work experience as an Occupational Therapist
- Ability to lift 50 pounds
Desired Qualifications
- Demonstrates knowledge of rehabilitation techniques related to complex neurological diagnoses preferred
