Job Summary
Deliver individualized occupational therapy services in home and community settings to help patients improve independence with daily living activities, cognitive skills, and community participation. Develop and implement goal-driven treatment plans while collaborating with patients, caregivers, and interdisciplinary team members to achieve meaningful outcomes. Support community reintegration and functional success in real-world environments for individuals recovering from brain injury, spinal cord injury, or stroke. Requires a bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy, current unrestricted license, and one year of experience. Full-time position with flexible scheduling, paid time off, and 401(k) benefits.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of a bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy from a college or university with an accredited Occupational Therapy program
- Current, unrestricted license as an Occupational Therapist by state in which practicing
- Current CPR Certification
- A minimum of one year's work experience as an Occupational Therapist
- Communicates effectively and professionally in verbal and written interactions
- Ability to lift 50 pounds
- Moving, lifting, or transferring of patients which may involve lifting of up to 100 pounds following safety procedures
- Duties require fine motor skills, visual acuity, and walking/ standing for extended periods
Desired Qualifications
- Demonstrates knowledge of rehabilitation techniques related to complex neurological diagnoses preferred
