Job Summary
Occupational Therapist - Rehab role providing direct OT rehab services in a post-acute care setting within Life Care Centers of America facilities. Collaborates with an interdisciplinary team to support functional progress and quality of life for patients, supervises OTAs and rehab aides, implements department goals and policies, and ensures compliance with regulations and Life Care standards. Requires graduation from an accredited OT program (BSOT or MSOT); new grads welcome. Proficient in Word/Excel/email; strong patient and family liaison, care coordination, and confidentiality.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited program in occupational therapy (BSOT or MSOT)
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and email
- Read, write, speak, and understand the English language
- Oversee and evaluate care given by OTAs, Rehab Aides, and students
- Implement and interpret the programs, goals, objectives, policies, and procedures of the department
- Liaison with patients, families, support departments, etc.
- Display integrity and professionalism by adhering to Company Code of Conduct and complete mandatory compliance training
