Administer diagnostic and prognostic tests to patients in their homes, then confer with physicians and the care team to develop and revise treatment plans. Provide therapeutic instruction to restore strength, coordination, and range-of-motion while teaching compensation measures and adaptive equipment use. Supervise Occupational Therapy Assistants and Home Health Aides, design community reintegration activities, and coordinate discharge planning. Document all care observations, interventions, and evaluations daily, ensuring interim orders are accurately recorded and submitted to supervisors. Requires a valid driver's license, auto insurance, and minimum six months of occupational therapy experience with home health background. Pay ranges from $54.00 to $76.00 per visit/unit.
