Occupational Therapist - Rehab- Occupational Therapy

Administer and interpret diagnostic and prognostic tests to assist physicians in evaluating patient function. Confer with the physician and health care team to develop and revise the Plan of Care Treatment. Provide therapeutic treatment and instruction to improve strength, coordination, and range-of-motion in accordance with physician orders. Review and expand retraining programs consistent with behavioral goals and rehabilitation guidelines. Report patient status and progress to the physician, staff, and family members. Participate in care coordination, discharge planning, and community reintegration activities. Recommend and design special adaptive equipment for clients. Design and train staff and family members in retraining programs for daily living skills. Supervise and evaluate Occupational Therapy Assistant and Home Health Aide performance. Accurately document care observations, interventions, and evaluations; submit evaluation, treatment plans, and discharge summaries. Requires a valid driver's license, auto insurance, and minimum six months of occupational therapy experience. Pay is per visit/unit rate.
