Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive evaluations of students' motor skills, sensory processing, and functional abilities, then develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with parents and school staff. Implement evidence-based interventions to address specific needs, monitor progress, and adjust plans as required. Provide consultation to teachers on classroom strategies and participate in IEP meetings to support holistic student development. Maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions and progress reports. This role offers a flexible caseload for remote school-based OT work with PreK-12 students, supporting E-Therapy's mission to connect schools with exceptional clinicians nationwide.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in Occupational Therapy or related field
- Must hold valid state license as an Occupational Therapist in the state in which you live in in which you are practicing
- Must be Registered with the National Board Certification Occupational Therapy (NBCOT)
- Passionate about working with K-12 students in a virtual setting
- Experience providing occupational therapy services in a school or pediatric setting
- Proficiency in assessment tools and therapeutic techniques commonly used in pediatric occupational therapy
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with students, parents, and school staff
- Strong problem-solving abilities
- Attention to detail
- Computer skills (including email/ and Microsoft teams)
- Experience in teletherapy
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of sensory integration therapy, handwriting without tears, and other therapeutic modalities (preferred)
