Occupational Therapist -Q WSIB Shldr/Elbw

Occupational Therapist role within Insight Health Solutions/Trillium Health Partners in Ontario. Provides assessment and treatment to workers recovering from workplace injuries as part of an interdisciplinary team, collaborating with physiotherapists, psychotherapists, neuropsychologists and psychologists. Delivers OT services in line with College guidelines and Essential Competencies; participates in professional practice meetings; supervises students and volunteers; contributes to program planning, quality improvement and return-to-work focus. Experience with post-injury orthopedic and mild TBI patients is relevant; ability to develop treatment plans addressing psychosocial factors and rehabilitation planning including return to work; strong interpersonal, time management, organizational and report-writing skills; commitment to client-centered care and continuous learning; liaison with third-party providers (WSIB/insurance) and potential involvement in cognitive assessments and work simulation programs are assets.
