Job Summary
Accountable for providing diagnostic and treatment services to home health patients. Duties include assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care, teaching patients and caregivers, completing clinical records, and serving as Case Manager to coordinate multidisciplinary services. Requires interdisciplinary communication and participation in performance improvement activities. A graduate from an accredited occupational therapy program and passing the NBCOT examination are mandatory, along with Virginia State licensure and AHA BLS Provider CPR certification.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited occupational therapy program
- NBCOT examination passed
- Current Virginia State licensure
- AHA BLS Provider CPR required at hire
- Professional competency as a general practitioner as defined by the American Occupational Therapy Association
- Minimum of one year Occupational Therapy healthcare experience
