Job Summary
Provide occupational therapy services in remote community-based care settings across Northern Territory communities, including support for people with end-stage renal disease and a range of complex co-morbidities. Work autonomously within a multidisciplinary team to deliver culturally safe, person-centred care that enhances independence and wellbeing. Must demonstrate strong communication across diverse populations, cross-cultural sensitivity, and the ability to adapt to changing circumstances in a dynamic, remote healthcare environment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor or Master of Occupational Therapy
- Current registration with AHPRA
- Territory Equipment Program registration, or ability to obtain registration
- Experience supporting people with end-stage renal disease and a range of complex co-morbidities
- Strong cross-cultural and professional communication skills
- Experience working within a multidisciplinary team environment
- Ability to work confidently and effectively as a sole clinician
